The Lugg Vacay Featured on ITV's This Morning as the Best easyJet Cabin Bag

The Lugg Vacay Featured on ITV's This Morning as the Best easyJet Cabin Bag
Table of contents

The Lugg Vacay 15-inch cabin bag was featured on ITV's This Morning by travel expert Chelsea Dickenson as the best easyJet-approved cabin bag for budget airline travel.

ITV's This Morning usually doesn't dedicate much airtime to luggage. The show covers everything from celebrity interviews to cooking segments, so when she chose to feature the Lugg Vacay in a live carry-on luggage roundup, it landed in front of a few million people on a weekday morning. Chelsea is a regular This Morning travel expert, founder of Holiday Expert and has over one million followers across her social platforms. Not a bad place to be.

Her verdict was direct: "If you have an easyJet allowance, this suitcase fits it perfectly." She also noted it was "much bigger" than the Primark equivalent sitting right next to it on set. We couldn’t agree more.

What the Segment Was About

Chelsea’s roundup was built around a simple question most travellers have asked at least once: what’s the best cabin bag for a budget airline fare? The segment covered everything from soft holdalls to hard shell suitcases, with the Lugg Vacay appearing in the underseat suitcase category alongside options from Primark and Tripp. The full article is still live on the ITV This Morning website if you want to read it properly.
It’s not the first time Lugg has caught the attention of the press, either. The Jetset cabin bag was recently named in Glamour's best affordable underseat bag list - worth a read if you're still deciding.

What You’re Actually Getting

The 15" Vacay Cabin Bag in Pearl measures 45 × 33 × 20 cm. That puts it comfortably within easyJet’s free cabin allowance of 45 × 36 × 20 cm, which means it boards on a standard easyJet fare without any add-on fees. No upgrade, no priority boarding required. It’s also approved for free cabin travel on Emirates and priority cabin boarding on ITA Airways, so it’s not a one-airline bag.

ABS hard shell, 360° double spinner wheels and a push-button telescopic handle that extends to three positions depending on your height. Water-resistant coating on the outside. The interior is clean and organised with enough room that, as Chelsea noted, it holds considerably more than it looks like it should.

The Vacay is available in plenty of colours: Army Green, Terra Cotta, Sky Blue, Forest, Slate Blue, Stone and more. Same bag, same dimensions, same airline approval across all of them. If Pearl isn’t your thing, something in the range almost certainly will be.

Why It Stood Out

On a show that covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time, the Vacay earned its slot because it does something that’s hard to find at this price: a proper hard shell cabin bag that genuinely fits within a budget airline’s free allowance rather than requiring you to pay for an upgrade to use it. That’s the whole brief, and it delivers on it.
